Mg by hand porcelain ceramic plates are inspired by 17th century German and Japanese botanical illustration. They draw on numerical calligraphy, botanical drawings and ornithology.

Each plate is hand thrown and painted with a cobalt stain. The clay body is a high fire porcelain fired to cone 10 in a reduction gas kiln.

The plates are made by hand in Brooklyn by Melissa Goldstein.
